The latest in a string of oddly-named episodes, Season 2's fourth outing will be called "This is the Night Mail," according to SpoilerTV.

Joe Chappele will direct, as we announced a few weeks back, and the ep was penned by series newcomers Ashley Miller and Zach Stentz, both of whom wrote for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and contributed to the script for Kenneth Branaugh's upcoming adaptation of Marvel's Thor.

Head over to SpoilerTV for the episode's casting call.

  1. I'm really happy that there filming my favorite TV show in my own country.. But I mean.. What are they going to do with the scenes in the lab... Are they going to make a new lab.. Or is it still going to be in harvard? Anyway.. I'm sure the VFX guys could actually do anything.. But still.. We wonder ... :D

  3. "This is the night mail" is the first line from a famous poem in a classic short movie from 80 years ago.

"Night Mail" reflects a near-utopian world populated by self-disciplined proletarians working through the night to sort and deliver the mail via ancient steam trains, hand trolleys and manual sorting. Bags of unsorted mail are hung near the railway line and caught by a mechanical arm as the train passes. Sorted letters are hung out of the train and delivered similarly. The method seems extremely efficient - until a bag is found months later in a field full of sheep, partial consumed.

    Poem extracts:

This is the Night Mail crossing the border, bringing the check and the postal order, letters for the rich, letters for the poor, the shop at the corner and the girl next door....

(towards the end) ...thousands are still asleep, dreaming of terrifying monsters.
