It may be we are coming up the debut of the "yellow universe" -- in looking through some of the screen shots in the episode "Momentum deferred" all the backlighting was in fairly high-intensity hues of yellow -- both inside and outside of William Bell's office in the Twin Towers, where Olivia first met him. I always assumed she was meeting him in the Red Universe (aka The Other Side), but now I'm not so sure....Olive kept on fading in and out of the conversation with Bell, so now I'm wondering if she was actually moving across universes during this conversation.

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about scanning through the Season I eppys during this mini hiatus and seeing if any of them look 'yellowish.'
I wonder if the two Olivias will become one? Perhaps the new persona is a mix of the two?...

ReplyDeleteWhen Peter took Olivia's hand, it started to snow, which apparently her imagination created. Snow usually creates a "new world" as it covers over the old one. Maybe the yellow universe is Olivia's creation. It would seem like we have only begun to see what she is capable of. She had never been happy or safe until now, with Peter, so maybe she is going to start creating some more snow.
ReplyDeletePeter (with the machine) has the power to create or destroy, so it's more likely that he would be the one to create a "yellow" universe.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I don't know that I buy into the theory that there will be three universes. Seems too confusing.
It DOES seem too confusing, Dennis, but that graffiti wall with the 3 different colors continues to haunt me.
