Here is an exclusive first look of how William Bell will appear in the upcoming Fringe episode "Lysergic Acid Diethylamide". This screenshot was taken from the Fringe commercial seen in tonight's American Idol episode.
Fringe executive producer Jeff Pinker even tweeted about, and sounded a little surprised by the reveal:
Anyone see the promo during Idol for tomorrow's Fringe? Verrrry revealing. Thoughts? Here is the promo featuring the revealing scene:

Whaaaaaaaooah.
ReplyDeleteWhy is William Bell animated? Also, what's the thing on his back?
ReplyDeleteRemember, they are all on LSD...
ReplyDeleteNow THAT threw me for a loop.
ReplyDeleteOoookayy. That's interesting, but not surprising.
ReplyDeleteWe know Jeff and Joel love animation.
As for the character who will die in the Finale, we have already seen "spoiler screenshots" of Walternate. Shooting a gun. In this universe. We know he totally hates our Walter, so would it not be consistent with his motivation to "gun for him"? Unless someone else gets in the way of the bullet.....

What would need to take place in order for us to view the events of Season Three from a majorly different perspective? Perhaps Peter did not "escape" from Walternate's world at the end of S2, but intentionally was set up to return with a hidden agenda, and killed the shapeshifters to protect his secret mission from becoming known somehow to the folks in the Blue Universe.
ReplyDeleteDon't care for animation and I hope the cartoon Bellie stays in the LSD trip.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping William Bell goes into Gene by the end of this episode. Would tie in nicely with the Fringe comic of Gene with the brainwave-reading machine on her head.
ReplyDeleteSorry did not like this episode at all!
ReplyDeleteIs it Leonard Nimoy doing the voice of Bell in the animated scenes? (I've seen it, and it sounds like him, but I suppose it could be an impersonation.) Maybe by animating him they are using a loophole to get around Nimoy's big announcement that he was retiring after his last "full-bodied" performance?
ReplyDeleteThe way I saw this episode is:
ReplyDeleteFear- real or imagined.
The cartoon parts were her imagination running rampart.
oSoFine,
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely Leonard Nimoy's voice for William Bell in that episode. The executive producers called him(even though he had declared his retirement from acting) and he said, "I'm in. What do you want me to do?" Sounds like a great guy.
I loved the LOST Easter Egg! The MacCutcheon Whsikey :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know lost, Tiggi, but I figured the whiskey had to be important since they got a close-up on the bottle.
